Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Mostert was under contract through 2025, although there was an out after 2024 that would see Miami take on a dead cap hit of only $1 million, per Spotrac.
Mostert served in a backup role for the Dolphins in 2024 behind De'Von Achane. He finished with 85 carries for 278 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games as the Dolphins went 8-9.
This came after a spectacular 2023 season where he ran for 1,012 yards with 18 touchdowns on 209 carries and was named to the Pro Bowl. The 18 touchdowns was the Dolphins franchise record for single-season rushing touchdowns.
The 32-year-old is entering his 11th NFL season and should be an attractive option for a team looking for depth at running back.
NFL free agency is set to officially begin March 12 with players being able to be legally contacted on March 10.
