The city of Philadelphia got its chance on Friday to celebrate the Eagles' Super Bowl LIX victory.

"I told myself that when I got drafted, that I wouldn't come to the Rocky steps until I won a championship," Hurts said. "And now we're here."

He finished to MVP chants: "The next pursuit begins. Go Birds."

AJ Brown told the crowd: "They said I was a diva. They said all I cared about was stats. You gonna get all those things wrong about me, but one thing you're gonna get right: I'm a f--king champion."

Saquon Barkley said: "One thing that I've learned from being here for a short period of time is that you guys are tough, you guys are resilient, and you guys know how to f--king fight."

Landon Johnson told the gathered Eagles fans: "I don't even got words to describe how happy I am right now. After '22, feeling that loss, I ain't ever want to feel that s--t again."

Jordan Mailata led Eagles fans in a rendition of "We Are the Champions," while CJ Gardner-Johnson led a "BTA" chant before Brandon Graham finished off the player speeches.

"I'm so happy that y'all didn't have to go through a nailbiter game," Graham said. "You know, we went BTA, like CJ said."

Before the speeches on the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, an anticipated crowd of one million fans took to the streets to watch their team parade through the city.

Barkley was impressed by the turnout in the first Super Bowl parade of his career.

"Every time I think Philly can't take it to another level, they take it to a whole another level," Barkley said during the parade (h/t Fox 29 Philadelphia.) "Me and the family, just happy and honored to be part of this organization, to be a part of this city.

"This city just deserves it all, and here we are."

Barkley also spotted an Eagles' ball boy watching along the route and pulled him into the parade, per Sam Stafford Wilson:

Cooper DeJean, who celebrated his 22nd birthday with a Super Bowl pick-six, told Fox 29 Philadelphia the parade "might be the best day" of his life.

Reed Blankenship meanwhile found himself mistaken for DeJean along the route:

Jake Elliott, who made four of four field goal attempts in the field goal, went for a fifth with a beer can.

Brown and Nick Sirianni meanwhile showed off their receiving skills:

General manager Howie Roseman was hit in the head by a beer can on the route, but he apparently didn't let the injury phase him:

Retired Eagles center Jason Kelce also showed up to join his former team for the parade.

Even the Philadelphia police got in on the celebration by performing a tush push in front of the parade crowd:

The Eagles medical staff also got in on the fun:

After a heartbreaking Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs two years ago, the Eagles now officially have their championship redemption.
