NFL Scout Predicts Titans' Trade Return if Team Moves No. 1 Pick in 2025 Draft
Should the Tennessee Titans move the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft, at least one pro scout believes they could collect a bounty of picks for moving down.
"They want more picks, so I think they'd come off that first pick," an AFC scout told ESPN's Turron Davenport. "But it takes two to tango. Someone has to fall in love with one of these quarterbacks enough to give up a ransom to get to the top. I'd say it would take a pick swap no later than No. 7 overall and a [second-rounder] this year to go with a first-round and at least third-round pick next year."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Titans went 3-14 in 2024 and have the top pick for the first time since 1978, when the franchise was based in Houston. Tennessee could keep the pick and select one of the top quarterbacks or the top non-quarterback on the board, but a lack of talent on the roster could make gathering assets an intriguing option.
It would likely require a team valuing one of the quarterbacks as a future franchise face to get the desired trade package.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward is rated as the No. 1 quarterback by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department, while Shedeur Sanders is rated as the No. 2 quarterback. Ward graded out as the No. 8 overall prospect and Sanders is viewed as the No. 16 overall prospect. If NFL teams have similar internal boards, it stands to reason they could roll the dice and hope Ward or Sanders slips just a bit on draft day.
Still, if a team truly needs to have Ward or Sanders, it looks like the price to move up to No. 1 could be on the steeper side.
