Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Such a deal would put him below only Christian McCaffrey ($19 million AAV) in the running back market and above Jonathan Taylor ($14 million AAV), Saquon Barkley ($12.5 million AAV), Alvin Kamara ($12.2 million) and Josh Jacobs ($12 million).
Those five players are currently the only running backs in the sport averaging over $10 million per season.
As for Cook, the 25-year-old will be on the final year of his rookie contract in the 2025 season, making a base salary of $5.1 million. That's a bargain for a player who rushed for 1,009 yards and 16 touchdowns this past season, adding 32 catches for 258 yards and two scores.
It's clear Cook wants a major raise. Whether the Bills are willing to pay him more than the reigning Offensive Player of the Year, Barkley, is another matter entirely.
