Video: Scottie Scheffler, McIlroy, More Featured in 'Full Swing' Season 3 Trailer
Full Swing is returning for a third season on Netflix on Feb. 25.
The streamer dropped the first full trailer for the new season of the documentary series that offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the biggest stars on the PGA Tour, including Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.
One of the key takeaways from the trailer include the focus on McIlroy's personal life when he filed for divorce from his wife of seven years, Erica Stoll, in May 2024 only to reverse course the following month after they resolved their differences.
"I've struggled with trying to be the best golfer, the best husband, the best dad," McIlroy said to the documentary crew.ย
There is also going to be a heavy focus on Scheffler after his dominant 2024 season in which he won seven PGA Tour events, tied for the fifth-most ever by an individual player.
The highlight of Scheffler's season was his four-shot win at the Masters. It was his second career victory at a major tournament after the 2022 Masters.
Bryson DeChambeau, despite being a member of LIV Golf, also occupies a prominent spot in the trailer with talk about his role as a "villain" in the sport. His victory over McIlroy at the U.S. Open figures to be a key focus of the season.
The eight-episode third season will drop in full on Netflix.
