Video: Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts Talk Eagles' Super Bowl Win, More on Jimmy Fallon
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and quarterback Jalen Hurts appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday to discuss their Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hurts, who was named Super Bowl MVP in the 40-22 victory by virtue of throwing for 221 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and rushing for 72 yards and a score, revealed what went through his mind when he was holding the Lombardi Trophy:
"I've just been telling people I was trying to process it. I think when you go into that, you don't know how you're gonna feel. You watch as a fan sports, championship games and these iconic moments, and you see the greats and how they handle it and their excitement and the rush of emotions.

"All I could think about was all the hard work. All I could think about was all the effort. And to see my reflection on the chrome trophy, in that mirror, it was a pretty good feeling."
Hurts also divulged that he used the Eagles' Super Bowl LVII loss to the Chiefs from two years ago as motivation, noting that his phone background since that defeat has been a picture of him walking off the field afterward.
Despite the fact that Hurts and the Eagles got their revenge on Sunday, the quarterback said he still hasn't changed the background and has "no urgency" to do so.
During the interview, Fallon played the viral Hard Knocks clip of New York Giants owner John Mara saying he wouldn't be able to sleep if Barkley signed with Philadelphia in free agency.
Mara's worst nightmare ultimately came to fruition, and it played a huge role in the NFC East rival Eagles winning the Super Bowl.
Despite that, Barkley said he still has a good relationship with the Giants organization, and the reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year added that "so many guys and people" from the Giants reached out to him to congratulate him.
Barkley made it clear that he is fully committed to the Eagles moving forward, though, noting he is "trying to be remembered as an Eagle," much like Marshall Faulk is remembered as a member of the St. Louis Rams despite previously playing for the Indianapolis Colts.
To conclude the segment, Fallon brought out the Eagles' starting offensive line to shotgun a beer with Barkley, while Hurts sprayed the beer on his teammates.
