Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar: Best Possible Outcomes at WWE Battleground 2015
When Seth Rollins squares off against Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the 2015 edition of the Battleground pay-per-view, there are several legitimate booking outcomes fans should be looking for at the July PPV.
Lesnar winning clean is a viable option, and allowing Rollins to earn the victory is also a possibility, but there is a chance Sheamus and his Money in the Bank briefcase have something to do with the outcome of this matchup.
Here are the best possible outcomes in the main event of Battleground 2015.

Sheamus Cashes In
Without a doubt, the most intriguing booking option for the PPV's main event would be allowing Lesnar and Rollins to beat each other down and get a clean pinfall, one way or another. After the result, Sheamus could hit the ring and cash in successfully.
The ideal booking would be Lesnar and Rollins putting on a great in-ring performance and making Rollins look strong before The Beast finally wins clean. Rollins will take Lesnar to his limit but come up short, and The Authority will exercise plan B and work with Sheamus after he wins the world title.
Not only would it set up a Triple Threat at SummerSlam, but it would also ignite a feud between Sheamus and Rollins, with The Authority backing the new champion. With Lesnar likely leaving again, a feud between Rollins and Sheamus would be a worthy main event storyline.
Brock Lesnar Wins Clean
One distinct option in the Battleground match is Lesnar winning clean, pinning Rollins to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship he lost at WrestleMania.
As one of the strongest forces in wrestling history, Lesnar winning clean is the most likely option.
Since Lesnar's music hit and he came to the ring following his suspension, the WWE Universe has been buzzing, proving once again he is the biggest star in the wrestling industry right now. Letting him walk out of the PPV with the belt is a decision that shouldn't be argued.
Lesnar walking into SummerSlam would give the company the major headliner the PPV needs, and Rollins being the challenger would help facilitate a face turn if that is the game plan. Add a possible Sheamus cash-in attempt, and Lesnar walking out of Battleground with the title is a smart plan.
Seth Rollins Wins with Interference
If Sheamus doesn't cash in his briefcase, one intriguing possibility is allowing Rollins to stand toe-to-toe with Lesnar and pull off the victory—with a little help from Kane and J&J Security.
Lesnar can earn his way into another title shot at SummerSlam, and allowing Rollins to earn the win over a bona fide star would help his career drastically. The WWE has booked Rollins terribly during his run with the belt, but a victory over Lesnar would put him in elite company and vindicate his run with the title.
Interference wouldn't be ideal in a PPV main event featuring Lesnar, but if it's done in a way that allows both men to look strong, it could further the storyline. If Rollins retains, the WWE cannot let it be in a fluke manner.
