WWE's Top Tweets, Instagram Photos and Viral Videos for Week of June 22

The week's best WWE social media posts were all about making an impact, be it through the threat of violence or sending a message to a fan in hospice.

Twitter was abuzz with what Kane had in mind for Dwyane Wade, a video of The New Day spreading positivity made its way around the Internet and Instagram captured the tag team champions making a young fan's day.

Paige, Sheamus and family infighting made the list as well.

We begin with The Prime Time Players, who are enjoying a run as babyface champions. As much fun as it must be to play a heel, being on the opposite side of the spectrum creates unique opportunities. Titus O'Neil and Darren Young saw that firsthand at a live event in Saginaw, Michigan, over the weekend.

The duo pulled a young fan out of the audience and made him part of their entrance. WWE shared the moment via its Instagram account:

The New Day wouldn't let their rivals top them in the connecting-with-the-crowd department, though.

Alice Boraby, a 92-year-old fan, had tickets to the SmackDown taping in Toledo, Ohio. Heath issues, however, prevented her from attending.

Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston sent her a special message, as seen in a story that Kingston shared on Twitter:

Boraby seemed to love the gesture, noting, "They're just as crazy as I am."

Paige found herself in a charitable mood as well. The recipient of her generosity, though, was of the feline variety.

The former Divas champ tweeted that she took in a neglected cat and named him after the late Dusty Rhodes:

Dusty's sons were featured in WWE's latest countdown video. The compilation showcases family squabbles in both real-life and kayfabe families.

There is plenty to reminisce about in seeing these clips of the Guerreros, Owen and Bret Hart and The Dudley Boyz back in their ECW days:

You have to imagine that Sheamus' family gatherings look a lot like some of these collisions. He doesn't have a brother in WWE, but the fight-loving bruiser surely mixed it up in backyards and bedrooms throughout his youth.

Fans got a peek at a younger version of The Celtic Warrior by way of Twitter. Sheamus offered a Throwback Thursday shot of him holding a replica WWE title:

He is all but guaranteed a run at the WWE World Championship now that he has the Money in the Bank briefcase in his grasp. It took an ambush from Bray Wyatt and outlasting Neville for the Irishman to win that prize.

Despite not winning that night or claiming any titles yet, Neville has been a big success in his first year on the main roster.

He's managed to stand out both as an athletic marvel and as a larger-than-life figure. The latter element was on display in a backstage shot of him on Instagram:

There, he looks like a superhero come to life, just as ready to do battle with Thanos as he is with Luke Harper.

Thanks to some great selling, Neville shows up a few times in a new video highlighting some of the best DDTs WWE wrestlers have ever hit. The move that Jake Roberts brought to the squared circle is the subject of the new "Fury" video.

Undertaker, Arn Anderson and Tyler Breeze are among those planting folks' heads into the mat with it:

Kane prefers another weapon to finish his foes off—the chokeslam. That's a move Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat apparently has to fear.

WWE shared a story from Uproxx about Kane promising to chokeslam the 2006 NBA Finals MVP if he left the Heat:

A potential free agent already has a lot of factors to consider from salary to which coach is at the helm. Normally, fear of a giant man's signature move isn't on that list. Portland Trail Blazers fans may want to ask Kane to send out a similar warning to LaMarcus Aldridge so they can keep their key big man.
