WWE NXT Results: Biggest Winners, Losers and Moments from June 24
Every so often, there are performers who come along, grab hold of the spotlight and refuse to let it go until they have achieved the success they so desperately covet. They do so through sheer will power, sometimes, and others capitalize on every opportunity thrown their way.
Wednesday night, Kevin Owens again proved why he is one of the most compelling stars in all of WWE, saving what was an awkward opening segment from Hideo Itami (whose English is a bit rough, to say the least), then added flavor to the main event with his stellar job at the commentary table.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Add to that the fact that he is feuding with just about every Superstar he comes in contact with (John Cena, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Itami, Samoa Joe, etc.), and it is apparent that he is getting over as a heel to a greater degree than anyone ever could have imagined.
Instead of faltering, as many would have given the pressure put on him, Owens has thrived, developing into one of the best acts in all of professional wrestling. His performance Wednesday night earned him biggest winner honors from the June 24 episode of NXT.
Who joined him on the plus side and which Superstars and Divas were the biggest losers of the night?
Find out now.

Loser: Dana Brooke
This is not an indictment on Dana Brooke for her effort at all. She is clearly trying whenever she sets foot inside the squared circle and, to her credit, she continues to improve. Unfortunately, it does not change the fact that she is woefully unprepared for the push she is currently enjoying.
Still incredibly green, it is clear that she is still finding her footing as an in-ring performer. Wednesday night, a more experienced and spunkier Cassie eclipsed Dana's performance, the former keeping the match interesting via her energetic comeback.
If Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Paige and Emma have proved anything, it is that the developmental brand understands how to build outstanding female performers. Before arriving at NXT, they were either wrestlers or had the industry in their blood, though. Dana comes from the fitness world, putting her at a disadvantage right out of the gate.
There is little doubt that she will develop into a competent worker, especially with Sara Del Rey overseeing the training of female talent at the WWE Performance Center. But it will take longer and, as a result, will be a much bumpier ride for Dana Brooke than her fellow Divas.
Winner: Finn Balor
The build to the biggest match of Finn Balor's career continued Wednesday night with part two of his career story and a main event showdown with Rhyno.
Balor wrestled a smart match with the Man Beast, allowing the Detroit native to use his power advantage to fuel the story before mounting the comeback, dodging the vicious Gore and finishing him off with the Coup de Grace.
Add to that match his video package of the brawl with Owens that occurred at the top of the show, and you have a strong night for the Irishman ahead of the monumental title bout in Japan on Independence Day.
Winners: Angelo Dawkins and Sawyer Fulton
Sure, the team formerly known as Shoot Nation lost to Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley Wednesday night, but during the match, they showed flashes of a team that could develop into one of the best in all of NXT.
In many ways, it was similar to Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy, who started their tag team run as enhancement talent. It was during their time jobbing to the Vaudevillains, Amore and Cassady and the Lucha Dragons that it became clear the team had tremendous chemistry and could work with anyone.
Fulton and Dawkins still need time to develop, but if they can continue to work as well together as they did in the brief time they had to shine against Rawley and Ryder, they could very well be the next breakout team in NXT.
