Who Are the Best Quarterbacks in the Big Sky Conference After Week One?
The Big Sky kicked off the 2009 season with eight of its nine teams playing in Week One.
Montana and Eastern Washington got the only two wins for the conference, as the six other teams all lost to FBS schools.
Every week I will take a look at the best quarterback in the league.
These rankings are based on what happens on the field this year.
QBs will receive points for passing and rushing yards, plus touchdowns. They will lose points for interceptions, incomplete passes and sacks.
So, let's take a look at the rankings after Week One:
1. Matt Nichols (Eastern Washington) 260 points
2. Drew Hubel (Portland State) 242 points
3. Cameron Higgins (Weber State) 233 points
4. Justin Roper (Montana) 162 points
5. Bryan Waggener (Northern Colorado) 143 points
6. Andrew Selle (Montana) 82 points
7. Mark Iddins (Montana State) 71 points
8. Connor Kavanaugh (Portland State) 66 points
9. Jason Smith (Sacramento State) 38 points
10. Dylan Orms (Northen Colorado) 28 points
Congrats to Matt Nichols on his great week and being ranked No. 1.
