WWE Battleground 2015: Feuds That Will Increase Excitement Level for Event
As the final pay-per-view before one of the WWE's big four in SummerSlam, Battleground has a big responsibility to ensure that the summer months are kicked off with a real bang.
The continuation of some impressive rivalries and the beginning of one or two in the weeks leading up to Battleground mean that there is plenty for fans to get excited about.
As always, the company will pin its hopes on a couple of feuds in particular to make sure that the event is a big hit. These are the likely candidates.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
John Cena vs. Kevin Owens
Naturally, John Cena and Kevin Owens' third consecutive fight on pay-per-view will grab plenty of headlines as Battleground approaches.
Should Owens remain on as much of a roll by the time July 19 rolls around as he is now, then another meeting between WWE's hottest new talent and one of the company's big heavyweights will be can't-miss viewing.
Owens has a real knack on the microphone and really does seem to bring the best out of Cena on occasions.
That was proven by their match at Money in the Bank, when Cena really jumped up his performance inside the ring to go all the way with Owens and produce a real contender for Match of the Year.
Throw in the electric promos and unhinged antics from Owens—such as him throwing Machine Gun Kelly off the stage at Money in the Bank—and you have all the hallmarks of a great rivalry that isn't set to die down just yet.
Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar
After Seth Rollins went toe-to-toe with Dean Ambrose in some fantastic pay-per-view matches, Rollins' run as WWE world heavyweight champion will be put to the test in the sternest possible manner at Battleground.
Throwing Rollins into the deep end and making him fight Brock Lesnar brings one of the company's biggest stars back to TV in the most dynamic way possible.
Lester's antics on the episode of Raw after WrestleMania are still fresh in the memory, and the reaction he got that night confirmed that he's massively over with fans right now.
He and Paul Heyman seem to be able to produce reactions from the WWE fans that few others can, and when you mix that with Rollins' outstanding heel persona, you have a brilliant rivalry ready to explode on to our screens.
There have been complaints that The Authority gimmick has gone stale, but with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon putting the squeeze on Rollins in the background, it creates a compelling subplot that could ultimately determine the outcome of the contest.
And with either man genuinely able to win the contest, the match itself will be unmissable.
