Big E believes his team will have the last laugh at Battleground:
WWE's tag team division may never reach the heights it did decades ago, but it has been more than enjoyable over the past few months, in no small part because of The New Day. Its members have been collectively great on the mic, and who didn't love seeing them use the "Freebird Rules" during their run with the tag titles?
The Prime Time Players have been pretty good themselves, and a sustained title reign should help their cause. Maybe Pancake Patterson can make a return.
It wouldn't make much sense to have Young and O'Neil drop the championship belts so soon after winning them, but that shouldn't make a huge difference. If anything, a new faction challenging for the belts might freshen up the tag scene a bit.
