Roman Reigns-Bray Wyatt Feud Will Make Both Stars Relevant
Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt couldn't have picked a better time for a singles feud with one another.
Both are in identical situations as top stars still trying to establish a singles career. Both find themselves at a crossroads on the outside of the main event picture looking in following major roles at WrestleMania.
By feuding against each other, Reigns can escape the shadow of The Shield, and Wyatt can finally engage in a rivalry with another top star following his WrestleMania match against The Undertaker.

To date, the career peak of both Wyatt and Reigns occurred at WrestleMania. Each rising star battled part-time icons whose rare wrestling appearances were fitting of WWE's biggest stage. But after such high-profile matches, Reigns and Wyatt have been hurt by comparatively lesser opponents.
Wyatt's first match since his showdown against The Undertaker came against Ryback. While Ryback is coming into his own in the midcard, he just won his first singles title this year, and his accolades don't come close to that of a future WWE Hall of Famer.
The same can be said about first-time WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins as it relates to major box-office attraction Brock Lesnar.
The Reigns-Wyatt feud allows the two young stars a chance to have the type of great match that will put each of them back on track. Wyatt works a very physical style that made for entertaining matches in the past against similar brawlers such as Dean Ambrose and the aforementioned Ryback.
A physical slugfest between WWE's brightest stars prevents Wyatt and Reigns from working a more technical wrestling match, which isn't a strength for either at this point in their careers.
It helps that both Wyatt and Reigns are peers. Working together means they will no longer have to live under the shadow of Hall of Fame opponents, and instead they can focus on the here and now.
WWE would have been wise to book this feud immediately following WrestleMania. Following the pay-per-view event, Reigns hovered around the WWE World Heavyweight Championship picture while Wyatt has found more difficulty maintaining a relevant feud.
His obsession with Ryback was futile compared to a match against the greatest WrestleMania performer of all time. Meanwhile, the more Reigns tries to win a world championship and fails, the easier it becomes to shoehorn him into the category of a lovable loser, which is no place for a future cornerstone of WWE.

Reigns and Wyatt need each other during this critical stretch in their careers. WWE's midcard is a tumultuous blend of former world champions and once-rising stars. On a transitional roster, nobody is exempt from slipping beneath the glass ceiling.
Wyatt vs. Reigns just makes sense, and it will be the feud that will reinvigorate both WWE Superstars.
