Is Seth Rollins Really Working Alone?
For weeks, WWE has been teasing tension between Rollins and the rest of The Authority leading into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship ladder match at Money in the Bank.
When WWE telegraphs a storyline this much, watch out for swerves.
While the WWE Universe hopes the recent tension will ensure The Authority does not get involved on Sunday and that the fans get a great one-on-one bout, there is a chance this has all been a ruse and that Kane and J&J Security could come out to help the champion retain his title.
The battle between Rollins and Dean Ambrose could be the Match of the Night if it is given the time and there is no interference, and every wrestling fan who knows what these men are capable of will be watching the match with this question in the back of their minds.
Is John Cena Going to Miss Battleground?
The war between United States champion Cena and NXT champion Owens has been better than expected, and this is a series of bouts that should be decided by a rubber match at SummerSlam.
With many fans expecting Cena to collect the win via an Owens disqualification or some sort of dirty finish, the likely rubber match would take place at Battleground, but that PPV is below this storyline.
Instead, Owens should injure Cena with an apron powerbomb so he is not medically cleared to compete at Battleground next month. Not only would that allow the rubber match to take place at SummerSlam, but it would also make Owens look almost unstoppable.
Whether WWE follows through with a storyline like this is uncertain, though.
How will the WWE Universe React to Roman Reigns?
There is always a chance for a giant swerve in the Money in the Bank ladder match—a fresh face such as Neville could pull out the win—but the only man in the match who has been properly booked is Roman Reigns.
Reigns will almost certainly walk away with the briefcase.
The biggest question for fans should be about how the Columbus, Ohio, crowd reacts to Reigns when he wins the match.
If the crowd is overwhelmingly behind him, WWE officials should ride with him as a top face moving forward.
On the other hand, a negative reaction should indicate that it's time for a heel turn. After Reigns acted so friendly toward Ambrose, an eventual heel turn on his former friend to join forces with The Authority would be an amazing storyline.
