WWE Money in the Bank 2015: Bold Predictions for PPV Showcase

Aaron BowerJun 9, 2015

Money in the Bank is often one of the most compelling and enthralling pay-per-view shows on the WWE calendar.

It provides fans with a glimpse toward the company's next big star, and it also lays the platform nicely ahead of one of the biggest shows of the year, SummerSlam.

This year's edition has an intriguing match to determine who walks away with the briefcase, while there will also be the continuation of several incredibly hot feuds.

But what can we expect to happen in terms of results and outcomes at Money in the Bank this Sunday?

The Prime Time Players Finally Get Gold

They've had plenty of near misses throughout their career, but this could finally be the night where the Prime Time Players rise to the head of the tag division.

Titus O'Neil and Darren Young have enjoyed a strong few months since reforming, and they get a crack at The New Day on merit after a strong showing inside Elimination Chamber.

With Tyson Kidd sidelined due to injury, the Prime Time Players have risen to the top of the queue for a shot at the titles, and fans can expect this to be the night where The New Day's reign comes to an end.

They've come close in recent months and have gone years without ever claiming the gold—and it would be a travesty if the Prime Time Players never actually got their hands on the belts at some point.

Thankfully, that could well come to an end at Money in the Bank.

Kevin Owens Keeps on Growing

It was arguably the biggest upset in recent years when Kevin Owens beat John Cena clean at Elimination Chamber.

It left many wondering what will be next for the NXT champion after an incredibly firm indicator that he is set for a major push in WWE.

Being booked in a rematch with Cena wasn't perhaps quite what people had in mind, especially as it left Owens fans worried that Cena would get his revenge, as he often does.

But all the signs point toward Owens getting another win over Cena at Money in the Bank, even if it won't be a clean one like at Elimination Chamber.

From there, the sky would be the limit for a guy who seems to be going places fast in WWE.

A Major Turn to Cost Ambrose

Dean Ambrose is over right now, of that there can be no denying.

His sporadic appearances on Raw and SmackDown with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship have made for great entertainment, and they're keeping his feud with Seth Rollins going.

Rollins has been on a bit of a downward curve lately, and losing to J&J Security on Raw was the latest in a number of low points for him of late.

But at Money in the Bank, expect him to come through and walk out with the title back in his possession, with another win tainted with controversy.

It won't be anything on Rollins' behalf that gives him the win; rather, it will probably come as a result of a heel turn from one of Ambrose's close friends.

Roman Reigns and Ambrose have formed a solid allegiance of late, but that could well be leading to a heel turn from Reigns on pay-per-view.

From there, that would leave Rollins free to challenge a returning Brock Lesnar, while  Ambrose and Reigns could go at it over the summer months.
