Who Goes To MMA Fighter Signings?

Naturally, I am aware that many MMA fans will stand on line forever to have a chance to talk to their favorite fighter, get an autograph, and have their picture taken with him. But in this case, the person waiting patiently for such an opportunity was not a MMA fan.

Today, between 1 and 5 PM at No Limits in the Arizona Mills mall, CB Dollaway and Ryan Bader were signing autographs and posing with fans for pictures.

This person, whose picture was taken and put up on a website that he will never see, was actually not an MMA fan, though I have tried often enough to convert him.

As a favor to his sister who is five years older and has many years experience in gaining the cooperation of reluctant high school students and later patients with certain reservations, it was not so difficult a task.

Of course Chuck, my "little" 58-year-old brother, did attend the signing for me. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be for him, as he said it was not a very long line.

Shopping and collecting sports memorabilia is my brother's favorite preoccupation, second only to his real career as a radiology technician at a hospital in Mesa.

In the past, during a visit to see my brother, the mall was one of the destinations we had on our itinerary. So I actually have been there.

Chuck said the signing went well and after CB heard Chuck request that Ryan make a picture out to "Lauren" a friend of mine who thinks he is "hot," CB also signed a picture to Lauren with my brother too embarrassed to reveal to CB that his "older" sister was actually the one that thought he was hot, (because of a picture I have seen of him on Facebook with him in a pool holding a Doberman Pincher).

Now that I have compromised my brother and his integrity, I am going to owe him big time.

Since he does not like MMA and favors the Cubs and Razorbacks, what do I do for him?
