Neville vs. Bo Dallas: Winner and Reaction from 2015 WWE Elimination Chamber

Chris RolingMay 31, 2015

A classic NXT rivalry renewed Sunday when Neville overcame Bo Dallas at the 2015 WWE Elimination Chamber.

It seemed a matter of time before the powers in charge threw Neville and Bo Dallas against one another. The two tout great chemistry, going way back to their NXT days and memorable battles including, but not limited to, championship ladder matches.

This particular feud started on the May 18 edition of Raw when Bo Dallas interrupted and eventually attacked his rival, which Neville avenged a week later, leading to the matchup.

WWE provided a speech from Bo Dallas before his entrance:

Sunday, after a charming pre-fight speech about a bird with a clipped wing, Bo Dallas wasted no time targeting Neville's injured knee.

As one can expect, Neville immediately took flight in spite of the injury, even catapulting himself to the outside when his opponent attempted to run. Outside of the early spurt of offense, Neville spent much of the match grounded, suffering from holds, knees and strikes.

Once Neville got going, though, there was no slowing his offensive onslaught. A vicious counter into the turnbuckle led to a diverse offense finished with—of course—the crowd-pleasing Red Arrow.

WWE Universe captured the thrilling finish:

After, WWE's Kyle Edwards provided some context as to what the result means between the two rivals:

NXT superstar Colin Cassady took to Twitter to congratulate his former NXT peers, including Kevin Owens, who bested John Cena before Neville's strong performance:

Going into Sunday, nothing could have derailed Neville's current momentum. He's quickly become a fan favorite, and the triumph at Elimination Chamber only reinforces the notion his high-flying ways have him on the track to superstardom.

He offered his thoughts on the win:

For Bo Dallas, one of the WWE's more unique characters, Sunday was a strong, if not surprising in-ring display for those who aren't familiar with his NXT work, and just what he needed to keep his momentum going in the right direction.

The spotlight fixates on Neville, who continues to live up to lofty expectations, which continue to grow as he turns in performances such as the show-stealing effort Sunday.
