French Open 2015 Results: Saturday Scores and Sunday Bracket Predictions
The French Open saved its best action for last on Saturday as David Ferrer and Richard Gasquet were the only two men's third-round winners who failed to emerge with straight-sets victories to their names.
Defending champion Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic each managed to progress in the competition with 3-0 wins—the stage now set to see who will face whom in Sunday's fourth round.
Saturday's action told a similar tale in the women's tournament, where Petra Kvitova and Sloane Stephens advanced with dominant victories in hand.
Read on for a glance at Saturday's scores and look toward Sunday's schedule, including predictions for the most promising matchups and the players we're likely to see lining up in the quarter-finals.

Andy Murray vs. Jeremy Chardy
Andy Murray's superb form on clay of late continued Saturday with a 6-4, 6-2, 6-3 trouncing of Australian hopeful Nick Kyrgios, who battled through a niggling elbow injury to see out his defeat.
Per BBC Sport's Piers Newbery, both Kyrgios and Murray's fourth-round opponent, Jeremy Chardy, have heaped praise on the Scot after finding a new stride on this surface:
Chardy beat David Goffin in three sets to claim an impressive win of his own in the third round, reaching the last 16 at Roland Garros for the first time in seven years.
On paper, the odds would seem to be stacked against the French native, but he is in a rare vein of form. Ben Rothenberg of the New York Times agrees that Chardy looks dangerous right now:
Seeded foes John Isner and Goffin were no menial challenges for Chardy to overcome, and his control of the opposing serve, in particular, has been among his greatest strengths at this year's competition.
Thanks to Kyrgios' injury, Chardy will undoubtedly require a step up in standards from Murray and could be, by some distance, his most difficult task of the tournament thus far—though still a beatable one.
Prediction: Murray wins in four sets.
Ana Ivanovic vs. Ekaterina Makarova

It took Ana Ivanovic just 53 minutes to defeat Donna Vekic on Friday, but Sunday's meeting with ninth-seeded Ekaterina Makarova is likely to throw a few more obstacles in her path.
Particularly, Makarova isn't likely to be as submissive against the serve. Should Ivanovic get ahead of herself, she could find the going tough in her last-16 clash.
No. 7 seed Ivanovic was forced to show some resolve when coming back from a set down against Yaroslava Shvedova and Misaki Doi in Rounds 1 and 2 of the French Open, respectively, which should put her in better stead.
In a way, those early examinations should come to prepare Ivanovic for the tests she knows are to come. Rothenberg made sure to detail how impressive her comeback against Doi was:
Makarova has struggled in recent competitions when coming up against opposition of genuine class, and Ivanovic is likely to be another blockade in her path that she's unable to overcome.
Prediction: Ivanovic wins in three sets.

Gael Monfils will need every bit of fortune that home advantage can grant him Sunday, when he'll take on the unenviable task of Roger Federer.
A five-set victory over Pablo Cuevas on Friday showed that the Frenchman is looking to duel for top honours at Roland Garros, with the tournament's official Twitter account posting footage of Monfils' passion:
However, he now faces a Federer who exited last year's French Open in the fourth round and will have his wits about him as he looks to ensure an upset of that nature doesn't come about again.
The tag of underdog is one that will suit Monfils, however, an enigmatic personality of the sport who displayed no small amount of determination against No. 21 seed Cuevas:
Admittedly, the second-seeded Federer is a much taller order than the Uruguayan, but Monfils' athleticism may be a rare threat that his Swiss opponent isn't used to encountering.
Prediction: Federer wins in four sets.
