A Fed Up Bob Ley Tears Up FIFA Agenda During Bogus Election Proceedings

FIFA looks to be about as crooked as a croissant, and today, before the eyes of a historically watchful international audience, the organization seems to be putting on a corrupt internal election to match.

The most blatant symptom of the election's shadiness so far has been FIFA's continued reorganization of the process. The FIFA Congress continues to circle back to other items on its agenda to delay the presidential vote, which could see Sepp Blatter ousted from his spot as supreme monarch/Cosa Nostra chairman.

These delays are ostensibly meant to give Blatter additional time to shore up support among his recently rattled allies, and the diversions from the official itinerary are driving ESPN's Bob Ley absolutely nuts.

After spending the last eight hours covering the constantly changing proceedings, Ley just ripped up the FIFA agenda on live television.

Joe Lucia (h/t AwfulAnnouncing.com) posted footage of Ley explaining FIFA's diversions and then tearing up the useless document.

He's so done, guys:

"Coming down [the agenda] through the Israeli-Palestinian question, down to here, down to number 17, the election of the president, they have now jumped back to number 11," Ley said.

Colleague Jeremy Schaap tried to calm Ley down, but the big bear wasn't having any of it.

"I'm not frustrated, I just want to make the point," Ley said. "For those who say it is base canard and unfair that FIFA makes it up as they go along: They are making it up as they go along."
