Arsenal Fan Lands FA Cup Final Tickets That Fell from Space

A 19-year-old Arsenal fan will attend the FA Cup final because his tickets fell into his lap from the sky. 

So, they didn't actually land on George Lamb's lap—his grandmother found them while taking her dog for a walk. And they actually fell from space, not the sky. 

If the FA was looking for an attention-grabber for its latest ticket giveaway, then—pardon us—"mission accomplished" when it blasted tickets into space. 

The final two tickets for Saturday's FA Cup final between Aston Villa and Arsenal at Wembley were sent into space via a weather balloon.

The FA's Twitter account tracked the tickets' path before they landed in Kent, where Lamb's grandmother found them.

With Lamb's birthday two days prior to the final, his grandmother gave him the perfect birthday present.  

"When I woke up this morning, the idea of going to the FA Cup Final hadn't crossed my mind," he told the FA's website on Wednesday. "Now, thanks to my grandma finding the tickets, I'm going on the ultimate adventure to Wembley on Saturday, although I'm sure the tickets' adventure to space is certainly a close second. 

"This will be my first time to Wembley and I've got butterflies at the prospect of it."
