No Problems for Roger Federer

Federer cruised past Alejandro Fallo during the first round of this year's Roland Garros, and a match against veteran Marcel Granollers shouldn't yield a different result for the Swiss veteran. The former winner has been in fine form and was given a favourable draw, and fans shouldn't expect too many issues for Federer during the first week.
Speaking to the press, Federer was more interested in complimenting Nadal than actually talking about his own match, per David Law of BBC 5 Live Tennis:
Granollers has always been more of a doubles specialist, and while he's more than solid on clay, he has never managed to beat Federer in his career. Granollers hasn't looked great in recent weeks and had his struggles against qualifier Matthias Bachinger, an ill omen with the in-form Federer waiting for him in Round 2.
Expect Granollers to put up a fight but lose in straight sets.
More Worries for Maria Sharapova

Women's title holder Sharapova battled a serious head cold to advance to Round 2, and Live Tennis wonders whether the Russian star will be able to do the same against compatriot Vitalia Diatchenko:
"Will #MariaSharapova's opponent - or her head cold - cause her problems on Wednesday? http://t.co/FIMB8xlCZO pic.twitter.com/OstdVWT9Um
— Live Tennis (@livetennis) May 26, 2015"
World No. 91 Diatchenko is not a big name on the WTA circuit, and 2015 hasn't been kind to her so far. She loves taking risks and will throw everything she has at Sharapova, trying to take advantage of her illness.
Against Kaia Kanepi, Sharapova clearly struggled with her breathing, and chasing down balls in baseline rallies gave her issues. But despite those struggles, she played remarkably clean tennis, showcasing her ability on the clay.
An extra day of rest and Diatchenko's aggressive playing style mean the title holder will likely have to worry less about her breathing, and unless her illness took a turn for the worse, she should be in control of this match.
She sounded ready for battle after her win over Kanepi, per the event's official Twitter account, and Diatchenko should expect plenty of winners as opposed to long rallies:
The match should still take its toll on Sharapova, however. Diatchenko may not force her to move as much as Kanepi did, but she will turn Wednesday's match into a battle that could have an impact on Sharapova's form later in the tournament.
Upset Alert for Kei Nishikori

Nishikori was blessed with an excellent draw for Roland Garros, but he'll face an in-form Thomaz Bellucci on Wednesday and will have to be very careful.
The 27-year-old Brazilian is enjoying the best season of his career and entered the tournament fresh off a win at the 2015 Geneva Open. The clay specialist is playing with confidence and will like his chances against Nishikori, who lost the only meeting between the two.
Tennis journalist Chris Goldsmith thinks the Brazilian should feel confident going into the match:
Over the course of five sets, Nishikori should be the favourite, but Bellucci will push him to the limit and could even cause a major upset if the Japanese star loses his focus.
