Knee Injury Rules Ibe Out of Toulon Tournament
Tuesday, May 26
James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo reported disappointing news from the Young Lions' perspective, confirming Ibe will have no part to play in the prestigious Toulon Tournament, which takes place between May 27 and June 7.
Pearce suggests Ibe "aggravated the problem in Sunday’s 6-1 thrashing at Stoke City when he came off the bench with Liverpool already 5-0 down."

Ibe made seven Premier League starts and five substitute appearances for Liverpool after returning from his successful loan spell with Derby County in January, per WhoScored.com. He is a powerful, hardworking and energetic player whose versatility could serve Liverpool well in years to come.
The 19-year-old will miss England's matches against China, Ivory Coast, Mexico and Morocco, which is a major blow for Aidy Boothroyd's band of promising starlets.
