Texans Reportedly Will Be Named 'Hard Knocks' Team

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported that he expects the Texans to be named the team featured on Hard Knocks. Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com confirmed that report.
Houston has been one of the top choices to be featured on the show for the last week. On May 22, Ganguli noted the Texans were the "favorites" to land the honor, confirming an earlier report from McClain regarding the team's potential involvement.
Houston would be a sensible selection because of the presence of superstar defensive lineman J.J. Watt as well as the ongoing saga of 2014 No. 1 overall selection Jadeveon Clowney.
The Texans are among the league's most compelling teams entering the 2015 campaign, and getting an inside look at their preparation would likely draw plenty of football fans in HBO's direction.
