Real Madrid Transfer News: David De Gea Terms Emerge, Iker Casillas Rumours
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is willing to cut his potential wages by £50,000 per week to join Real Madrid, according to Jeremy Cross of the Daily Star.
The Red Devils have offered De Gea £200,000 per week to remain at Old Trafford, according to Cross, who believes Madrid cannot match such terms.
Los Blancos "have put together a contract worth £150,000 a week" for De Gea, per Cross, something that "will not stop him from pushing through a move to the European champions." De Gea is destined to miss out on £12 million if this comes to fruition.

He won both the Players' Player and Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year awards at United's awards evening on Tuesday night, per Mark Froggatt of the club's website. He's proved to be a regular points winner for Louis van Gaal's side, bailing out a disjointed defence with many memorable saves this year.
The Spaniard's quality was underlined with a reactive stop from Olivier Giroud during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal, just a snippet of what he has regularly produced this season.
Interestingly, Jose Felix Diaz of Marca believes Madrid have told current No.1 Iker Casillas he can remain at the club if he wishes. He attributes the following comments to Madrid director general Jose Angel Sanchez, who recently held a meeting with Casillas: "If you want to stay at Real Madrid, you can. We are counting on you for next year."

Diaz reports that "it seems Casillas is willing to stay on at the club and (president) Florentino Perez isn't about to snub him."
Casillas has remained at Madrid since his youth career began in 1990. He's proved to be a loyal servant and, undoubtedly, one of the world's best goalkeepers throughout his tenure.
However, his recent poor form continues to blight Madrid's performances, something a club of their size cannot get away with. He is likely to be a useful tutor to De Gea on the international scene and could initiate the same role if he remains at the Bernabeu.
B/R UK's Guillem Balague believes Casillas is wary of exiting the club:
It's likely De Gea's personal preference will play the key role in this scenario. The Madrid native may harness a desire to head back to La Liga, particularly if he feels a connection to Los Blancos.
Money is unlikely to be an issue at this level, although he would be providing a major show of support for Madrid if he took a lower offer from them.
Carlo Ancelotti's side needs repairing in time for next season after failing to grab silverware during the current campaign. De Gea is an obvious choice—he is popular, marketable and still improving—but getting rid of Casillas is a major step.
There is rarely room for sentiment at the Bernabeu, though.
