
Colfax Marathon 2015 Results: Men and Women's Top Finishers
Ramon Paredes-Becerra of Denver, Colorado, won the 2015 men's Colfax Marathon by a cool minute and 30 seconds, edging out Sriram Varadarajan, while Patrick Smith came in third.
On the women's side, Jennifer Gonzales dominated, with a margin of nearly 11 minutes over second-place finisher Nicole Chyr. Laura Eakin rounded out the top three.

One of the main stories from the day, however, was nearly a tragedy, as a driver rammed into the barricades blocking off the race course. Anica Padilla of ABC 7 has more:
Thankfully, no runners were injured in the incident.
And it was certainly a gorgeous day for a run, as the Lakewood Police Department shared on Twitter:

The Aurora Fire Department also got in on the action:
If you are going to undergo the grueling conditions of a marathon, doing so on a beautiful day in a place with wonderful scenery is the way to go.
And in Colorado, not far from the Rocky Mountains, well, it's hard to find a better view.
That proved to be true on Sunday. The action lived up to the hype, and the scenic backdrop made for an even more enjoyable experience for all involved.
