The Mets Must Play Younger Players and Change The Organization Around

I dont understand the Mets. They drop the ball when it comes to players who can definitely benefit the team. Wilpon says that the losses he got from madoff is not affected him run the Mets, i think that is a complete lie. the Mets had a shot at signing Cliff Lee and Victor Martinez and they just let that opputunity go without even thinking about it. Someone needs just to buy out the Mets from Wilpon and turn this organization around for the better.

The Mets have great players: Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, and their all star David Wright. They just need a few more pieces to build a potential championship team. All the Mets need is to strentghen their pitching staff and a couple other positions. The mets bullpen is overall pretty good. It is their rotation which is weak and needs to be redone. They need to sign some guys in the offseason and make this team into what it should be. Im tired as a Met fan of the past 7 to 8 years of them dropping the ball on all star players who can help the team and buying players who were awesome but are past their prime.

The other big issue with the mets organization is that they keep on playing Sheffield and Tatis. They have to bench them and play all their young players if your team is going nowhere this season which the mets are they should play all their younger guys and get them experience in the big leagues. When Delgado, Reyes, Beltran, Wright and all the other great players come back all these  younger players aregoing to be on the bench or in the minors this is a goodopputunity to give them game experience in the majors in case a starter goes down with an injury and the Mets need a clutch hit. They can use these younger players and the best of all they can trust them to deliver a clutch hit when needed.

Hopefully in the offseason this year the Mets will get all their stars back and it would also be nice if they would sign a guy like joe mauer who will be a free agent this year. Mauer is young and is one of the best catchers and even of the best hitters this year despite being inactive to play for the first month of baseball. If the Mets were to get Mauer with everybody coming back healthy and a couple more guys they may just go all th way next year, you never know, you just gotta believe.
