ESPN “Monday Night Football” Crew Euphoric Over Favre's Return

Truth be told, the mainstream media has done a decent job deflecting a majority of their excitement over Brett Favre’s return to the center stage.  First, ESPN made #4 the center of a joke surrounding their latest “This is SportsCenter” commercial.  Then, there was Sports Illustrated’s “100% Favre Free” issue which hit newsstands this week.

But make no mistake about it, even steadfast professionals like ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” crew simply could not hide their climatic exuberance before Monday’s nationally-televised preseason game between Favre’s new Minnesota Vikings and the Houston Texans.  The lights, the cameras, the action, the Favre; all rolled together in one cornucopia of euphoric excellence.
