It may be Friday, but holy throwback Thursday.
Members of the famous film A League of Their Own reunited at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, Arkansas, on Thursday night. The 1992 movie, which also starred Tom Hanks, told the story of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) in the 1940s.
Stars such as Rosie O'Donnell (who played Doris Murphy) and Geena Davis (Dottie Hinson) got together alongside Gina Casey and Alice Fracasso, who actually played in the AAGPBL and were the inspirations for the film.
While we're here, there is no better time to take a look back at arguably two of the greatest scenes in the movie.
Dottie bare-hands a fastball as she and her sister enter the field for the first time. And, of course, Madonna.
Lastly, there's no crying in baseball! (Video contains profanity.)
