Kyle NewportMay 4, 2015

Bodybuilder Romario Dos Santos Alves, who could be mistaken for the Incredible Hulk, spent a lot of time and effort building a large frame.

Although he was proud of his muscles, what he was doing to his body nearly cost him his arms.

The bodybuilder had been injecting himself with synthol, which eventually led to his muscles turning into rock. A doctor told Alves that he would need to have both of his arms amputated.
