Chelsea Parade 2015: Expected Date and Location for Premier League Celebration

Gianni VerschuerenMay 3, 2015

Chelsea are expected to celebrate their winning the 2014-15 Premier League title with a massive parade around west London on May 25, according to Charles Sale of the Daily Mail.

Residents of the boroughs of Chelsea, KensingtonHammersmith and Fulham have already been alerted of the upcoming celebrations. The route will likely affect traffic around Stamford Bridge, where road restrictions are expected, and will also take the team bus through Fulham.

As shared by MailOnline Sport, the Blues have been planning the parade for some time now:

This fan (via Chelsea Transfer Gossip) shared a copy of the letter that was sent to residents, indicating the parade will start around noon and will take roughly an hour:

More information regarding the exact route of the parade is expected to presented in the coming weeks and will be made available through the club's website. Express Sport already shared a possible route, which was leaked earlier this week:

Chelsea have led the Premier League standings from the start of the season and were favourites to win this year's title for the bulk of the campaign. Sunday's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace meant Arsenal and Manchester City could no longer mathematically catch the Blues, handing Jose Mourinho's men the title with three matches left on the schedule.

This year's title is the fourth Premier League title and fifth first-division championship in the club's history. It also the fourth in the past decade.
