La'el Collins Plans to Enter 2016 NFL Draft After Not Being Picked on Day 2
Former LSU offensive lineman La'el Collins was considered a potential first-round pick in the 2015 NFL draft. However, Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that a woman believed to be Collins' ex-girlfriend was killed just days before the draft.
At the end of three rounds, Collins has still not been drafted.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Friday that if Collins wasn't chosen, he would pull out of the draft this year and reenter in 2016, adding the last-minute plan Collins has in place to hopefully clear his name:

Collins is being sought for questioning but isn't a suspect in the murder case, per MLive.com's Kyle Meinke. Fox Sports insider Jay Glazer reported that Collins tried to get his name pulled from the 2015 draft and move to this year's supplemental draft, but that was denied Thursday.
NFL Media analyst Albert Breer weighed in on the latest development in a most shocking saga involving Collins:
LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron vouched for Collins prior to the draft, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt:
Coming from a pro-style offense at LSU with the versatility to play tackle and guard, there was a strong chance Collins would have been chosen early in the first round if not for this major off-field red flag. Now his entire football future is hanging in the balance.
