NFL Draft Schedule 2015: TV Start Time, Live Stream Coverage and More

Tim DanielsMay 1, 2015

The 2015 NFL draft kicked off on Thursday night in rather mundane fashion. Based on the amount of speculation flying around ahead of time about possible trades, a wild night was expected. Instead, most teams simply stayed put and took a prospect to fill a void.

Perhaps the craziness will finally show up on Friday night. When the dust settled following Round 1 there was still a solid group of prospects available headlined by Randy Gregory and Landon Collins. Teams may want to move up in the second round to grab one of those sliding players.

Let's check out all of the viewing details for the next two rounds on Friday, as well as the remaining rounds on Saturday. That's followed by a look at the draft results and some storylines worth monitoring on Day 2.

What to Watch on Day 2

The biggest question mark during the second and third rounds will be determining when the reward outweighs the risk with some talented prospects. The aforementioned Gregory along with Dorial Green-Beckham and La'el Collins being notable examples.

Gregory failed a drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine and Fox Sports' Jay Glazer said teams had concerns about "other issues" during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show. He didn't explain exactly what those potential problems were, be it on or off the field.

That said, this is an era where players with edge-rushing ability are extremely valuable. Josina Anderson of ESPN noted he could have gone in the top half of Round 1 if not for the red flags:

Green-Beckham is an interesting case. Not only has he dealt with multiple off-field issues, but he's also a raw talent. It's going to take some time for him to develop, which means a team will be betting he can stay out of trouble as they wait for him to grow as a player.

If he can do that, the payoff down the line could be massive. He's got all the physical tools to become a No. 1 receiver. But it's no guarantee he'll ever reach his potential, of course.

Graham Watson of Yahoo Sports' Dr. Saturday passed along the wideout's comments about trying to move forward.

"All the decisions I made, I wish I could take it back," Green-Beckham said. "It happened, I was young, I made mistakes, I understand that. I just want to focus on one thing, and look forward to just this draft and focus on being the best I can be."

Collins represents the trickiest situation to navigate of them all after his request to get placed into the supplemental draft instead was denied by the league, according to NFL.com's Conor Orr.

Ross Dellenger and Ben Wallace of The Advocate report the LSU offensive lineman is going to meet with police about the death of a pregnant woman last week. Police said he's not a suspect but is one of the people they want to speak with about the situation.

It's left his draft stock very much up in the air. Bleacher Report's Matt Miller reports there's even some thought he may go undrafted as a result:

Beyond those situations, it will be intriguing to see if there's more action on Friday.

Matt Barrie of ESPN highlighted exactly how little movement there was in Round 1. It represents a sharp contrast from what was expected given all of the trade speculation leading up to draft day:

As mentioned, it's a situation where teams that may have thought certain prospects wouldn't last to Day 2 are still available. So the flurry of moves expected yesterday could finally show up as front offices try to move up in the second round.

Cris Collinsworth of NBC is impressed with the level of talent still on the board:

All told, the second day of the draft doesn't come with the same type of hype as the opening round. Given the pretty standard nature of Thursday's drafting, however, Friday could actually trump it in terms of teams making some waves.

It will definitely be fascinating to see how it all plays out.
