What the Experts Agree On

Winston Goes No. 1 Overall

There are plenty of reasons to believe the Buccaneers will draft Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with the draft's No. 1 overall selection. While the signal-caller does come with some off-field concerns, Tampa Bay has done its due diligence vetting him. The team needs a strong-armed quarterback who has a good pocket presence and can contribute immediately. That's Winston.

Todd Gurley's Stock Is Rising

Following a devastating ACL injury in 2014, Georgia running back Todd Gurley's draft stock was in question. He wasn't able to participate in offseason workouts, and the severity of his injury was unknown. However, after his recent checkup went well, Gurley's stock has soared. That is evident in the above mock drafts, as he goes at No. 8, 11 and 17 overall.

Kevin Johnson Is a First-Rounder

The hype surrounding Wake Forest cornerback Kevin Johnson has increased of late, and the 6'0", 188-pound standout makes an appearance in all three first-round mocks. His status as a first-rounder is well deserved after producing some very impressive workouts during the offseason, including a combine showing that resulted in top-performer honors in four of his six drills (vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle).

What the Experts Don't Agree On

Order of Wide Receivers

The top three wide receivers in this year's draft are Alabama's Amari Cooper, West Virginia's Kevin White and Louisville's DeVante Parker—in no particular order. Most analysts can agree on that; however, the pecking order for pass-catchers gets a little murky thereafter. B/R's Mike Tanier has Arizona State's Jaelen Strong next, but the wide receiver doesn't show up in either of the other two mocks. Instead, UCF's Breshad Perriman, Miami's Phillip Dorsett and Ohio State's Devin Smith make appearances.

Shane Ray's Draft Stock

Missouri's Shane Ray is a very talented pass-rusher; however, due to the possibility that he'll need surgery on his toe and could miss five months of action, teams may be a little more apprehensive to draft him. That uncertainty is apparent in the above mocks, as Ray goes as high as No. 6 overall in NFL.com's Charles Davis' projections but falls to No. 15 and 21 in the other two.

Is Randy Gregory Still a First-Rounder?

One of the biggest storylines this offseason was Randy Gregory's lack of weight at the combine followed by a positive test for marijuana. After those red flags, the talented pass-rusher out of Nebraska will likely fall in the draft—but how far? Tanier and CBS Sports' Dane Brugler have the defensive end going 13th and 16th overall, respectively. Davis, on the other hand, didn't include him in his first round at all.
