NFL Draft Order 2015: 7-Round Selection List, TV Schedule and Event Info

Tim DanielsApr 29, 2015

The 2015 NFL draft class is limited in terms of top-end prospects. Yet the amount of depth is actually pretty good overall. That's true both in terms of instant-impact players and long-term projects who could prove worth the wait a few years down the road.

Make no mistake, there are a few prospects worthy of the hype. USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams is probably the most complete player in the draft. Quarterbacks Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota are both franchise building blocks at the league's most important position. Dante Fowler Jr. and Amari Cooper are also capable of becoming major assets in the near future.

Things start to fade outside of the top five, though. That doesn't mean teams won't find players who can step right in to play. But they should keep expectations within reason.

It becomes more of a search to fill voids rather than trying to hit a home run. Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel notes some players may come off the board earlier than they should simply because the class lacks star power:

A lot more factors are taken into account than just talent these days too. Teams are forced to consider any type of off-field issues a player may have dealt with and make that part of his final grade.

That adds another layer of uncertainty to the entire process. Darren Urban of the Arizona Cardinals' official site passed along comments from general manager Steve Keim about those situations:

All told, this year's draft is one where tuning in on Day 2 and Day 3 is probably a good idea. Depending on how the draft falls, some talented prospects could slide and become hidden gems. Finding those is even more important, with value certainly being the most operative word.

With that in mind, let's check out all of the important information for the three-day NFL showcase. That's followed by the full selection list for the 256 picks that will be made.
