
Carlos Carrasco Injury: Updates on Indians SP's Status After Line Drive to Head
Carlos Carrasco had to leave the Cleveland Indians' game against the visiting Chicago White Sox on April 14 after being struck in the face by a line drive off the bat of Sox outfielder Melky Cabrera in the top of the first inning. He'll return to the mound April 21.

"Indians have flip-flopped starters for White Sox Series: Bauer will go Monday, Carrasco on Tuesday," revealed Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com.
MLB.com provided video of the injury, which thankfully did not result in serious injury and at the time was described as a jaw contusion:
Carrasco started only 14 games for the Indians last season, but over the campaign's final two months, he was one of baseball's best pitchers (1.70 ERA in 10 starts). The team had big expectations for him coming into 2015, signing him to a four-year, $22 million contract just before the season began.
