Johnny Manziel to Be Discharged from Rehab Soon, Enjoys Golf Outing with Father
Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, who entered rehab earlier in the year, was spotted playing golf in Louisiana on Saturday. It turns out he's reportedly nearing the end of his treatment and is allowed to spend time with family and friends.
Roy Lang III of The Shreveport Times reports Manziel spent part of his weekend at the David Toms Academy 265 and the East Ridge Country Club.
"In town with his father, the Cleveland Browns quarterback and former Aggies star began his day by fine-tuning his game at 265, the world-class golf facility built by Shreveport's 13-time winner on the PGA Tour," Lang wrote.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Mary Kay Cabot of the The Plain Dealer provided some clarity on the situation:
She also noted he could be completely released from treatment in the near future:
Manziel struggled in limited action during his rookie season in Cleveland. He posted a 42.0 quarterback rating on 35 pass attempts over five games. That's a very small sample size, but he didn't look prepared to succeed at the NFL level during those brief cameos.
Jeremy Fowler and Pat McManamon of ESPN.com posted an article in late January in which some involved with the organization questioned his commitment to football.
He started receiving professional help less than two weeks later. Now he's apparently getting ready to finish rehab and attempt to move forward with his football career. Exactly how the transition back into the limelight will go is anybody's guess.
For now, he's enjoying some family time on the golf course. It's about as serene a situation as he could expect while going through the final stages of treatment.
