One of the biggest matches on the WrestleMania 31 card was potentially in doubt after Bray Wyatt reportedly injured his ankle warming up for his big match against the Undertaker. However, he did not appear to be slowed down as he put on a spectacular show in a losing effort.Β

Wyatt Loses to Undertaker at WrestleMania

Sunday, March 29

The apparent ankle injury didn't preclude Wyatt from competing at WrestleMania 31, where he lost after the Undertaker delivered a Tombstone Piledriver, per the WWE:

Wyatt didn't look to be adversely affected, as he and The Phenom put together a very good match.

Wyatt Injures Ankle Before WrestleMania

Sunday, March 29

Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com reported that Wyatt may have gotten hurt as he was training in the ring on the day of WrestleMania. The severity of the injury remains unknown, but Wyatt was wheeled to the back on a cart.

It's almost certainly way too late for a match as big as Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt to be removed from the card altogether. The injury may not be all that serious anyway, thus not necessitating the need to alter anything.

It will be interesting to see if Wyatt is showing any signs that the ankle is bothering him, though. This could be one of the biggest nights of his career, so it would be extremely unfortunate if an injured ankle prevents him from putting on a fantastic match.
