Nicklas Bendtner Scores a Hat-Trick, Memes Flood the Internet

Nicklas Bendtner, of all people, hit a hat-trick as Denmark came back twice to stun the United States 3-2 on Wednesday. 

Bendtner is a bit of a cult figure—especially among Arsenal fans—for his bloated ego that rarely matches his on-pitch performances, his eccentric Instagram posts and his Lord Bendtner nickname.

So when the Dane scored a hat-trick, expectations were high for how the internet would react.
