8 Athletes with the Coolest Cars

Being a professional athlete is easily one of the coolest jobs in the entire world. Getting to play a sport you love and being paid a lot of money in the process? Sounds good to me.

But while being celebrated for their on-field exploits is rewarding, one of the most overlooked spoils in a pro athlete's lifestyle is their car game.

In this slideshow we'll take a look at eight famous athletes with the coolest cars in the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo's collection of sports cars is pretty impressive, but there's one in particular that deserves its own recognition.

This beautiful white Audi R8 is the ultimate sports car. It's not overly flashy or outrageous, but it has a super clean look and is as good as it gets from a performance standpoint.

Here is another angle, just in case one wasn't enough. And while that's by far my favorite, go see some of his other rides just for the heck of it.

Henrik Lundqvist

Henrik Lundqvist seems to just about have it all, but take one quick look at his incredible car and you'll find yourself even more jealous of the New York Rangers goaltender.

Lundqvist drives around in this insane custom Lamborghini. It's got a nice clean silver/gray matte paint job and some nice tinted windows.

Coolest of all? Instead of saying "Lamborghini" on the back, it says "Lundqvist". Oh, and he's also got this sweet Bentley, because of course he does.

Johnny Hendricks

Ever seen a Ford F-150 in person? How about an F-350? They're pretty massive and awesome trucks.

But they don't come even close to the insane F-650 that UFC star Johnny Hendricks drives around. It's a massive black truck that is fully customized with speakers in the back and tons of other cool accessories.

It barely even looks like it should be able to navigate around the road, but something tells me a big guy like Hendricks won't have a problem with that.

David Beckham

I'll let you do the investigating yourself, but there are Aston Martins, Ferraris, Bentleys, Audis, BMWs and pretty much anything else you can think of.

Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather is by far the most obvious candidate for this type of list with his penchant for being extravagant and over the top in everything he does. You can get a look at his full fleet of cars here, including the Bugatti in the above picture.

But even he outdoes himself with his most notorious ride. Complex has the lowdown on this absolutely ridiculous armored truck that is worth $2 million. That's not a typo. 

I'm not even sure why someone would want a truck that big, but hey, at least it's bulletproof (literally). 

LeBron James

If there's anyone who might give Beckham or Mayweather a run for their money in terms of massive and awesome collections, it's the King himself.

LeBron has a few of the coolest cars I've ever seen, starting with this customized Nike Lamborghini Aventador.

But go over here and check out the rest of his cars, which are pretty varied in terms of style. He has a few gems, including a Maybach and a Ferrari.

Mario Balotelli

The third soccer player on this list, Mario Balotelli definitely puts up a good fight against Beckham and Ronaldo with some really unique rides.

You can see all of his awesome whips here, but I would be remiss not to point out my personal favorite, the camouflage Bentley that made waves when he first brought it out in public.

Honorable mention has to go to the Range Rover decked out in orange vinyl. Great look from the Italian superstar.

Kobe Bryant

We end with one of the classiest collections that I've ever seen from any athlete, and this one comes courtesy of none other than Kobe Bryant himself.

The superstar spent much of his childhood in Italy, and it's clear that he carried over a soft spot for Italian vehicles into adulthood.

This Business Insider article details some of his amazing cars, including a gorgeous Ferrari 458 Italia. He's also got his own helicopter, which isn't technically a car but can't go unmentioned.
