It didn't take Steven Gerrard long to make an impression in the Liverpool vs. Manchester United clash after receiving a red card for stamping on Ander Herrera within a minute of coming on.

Steven Gerrard really should have set the captain's armband on fire as he walked off for added flair.

Astonishing drama at Anfield. Steven Gerrard: no sooner on than off. Can't argue with the red card.
