Barea Returns to Practice
Tuesday, March 31
Barea returned to practice on March 31, according to Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com.
Barea would travel with the team to San Antonio, but was listed as out, per Sneed on March 26.
On March 21, Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas reported Barea's injury would keep him from traveling with the Mavericks to Phoenix:
Point guard has been a problem area for the Mavericks all season. Rajon Rondo's addition hasn't been the solution most expected, so Barea's presence off the bench is more valuable than ever.
Fortunately, the Mavs have built a 4.5-game cushion over Oklahoma City for the No. 7 spot in the Western Conference, and they can afford to give Barea some rest to get 100 percent healthy before returning.
