WWE SmackDown: Spoiler-Free Preview for March 19

The process of laying the groundwork for WrestleMania will continue on the March 19 edition of WWE SmackDown.

Bad News Barrett will get a preview of the title match he has lined up for the marquee event. Cesaro and Tyson Kidd will face a team that could potentially be their opponents come March 29. Meanwhile, both Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins will seek momentum before their respective WrestleMania showdowns.

The Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri, hosted all that animosity and contention on Tuesday. Until SmackDown airs on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, it will be tough to avoid all the spoilers floating around the Internet.

To those who manage to do so but still wish to see what matches are lined up for the show: The following preview is for you.

Brie Bella vs. Paige 

On Monday's Raw, Nikki Bella outlasted AJ Lee. Now the other halves of the tag teams set to collide at WrestleMania will meet. Can Brie make the Bellas 2-for-2?

WWE allowed the match on Raw to go for much longer than the average Divas match. Fans will be wondering if this SmackDown contest will get the same treatment.

Also keep an eye on how much narrative WWE inserts into this feud. So far, these two teams have been plenty upset with each other, but there hasn't been anything special to savor story-wise. With WrestleMania so close now, the company has little time to make this feel like more than just a card-filler.

Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Natalya vs. Los Matadores and El Torito

Questions permeate this matchup. Are Los Matadores heels, or at least moving in that direction? Are the bullfighters actually title contenders? Who will the tag champs face at WrestleMania?

As silly as this promises to be (WWE has billed it as a 6-Being Interspecies match), it will likely provide a number of answers.

Chances are Jey Uso's shoulder injury will pull The Usos out of the running for the Tag Team Championships. The New Day and Los Matadores have been making their cases for title shots.

After not appearing on TV much at all, Los Matadores have emerged and gotten hot rather quickly. They defeated The Usos on March 9 and on last week's SmackDown teamed up with Cesaro and Kidd to knock off The Usos and The New Day.

They look to continue that run and stake their claim as No. 1 contenders.

Gauntlet Match

Each man involved in the Intercontinental Championship Ladder match at WrestleMania enters a Gauntlet match in Kansas City. 

This is a prime opportunity for Barrett to end his losing streak in impressive fashion. It has felt like he's been incapable of victory of late; the champ is looking mighty weak at the wrong time. WWE can change that should by letting him come out of this on top.

Otherwise, it's a chance for another wrestler to make an impact and for fans to see who WWE feels is more of an add-on than contender. Watch who gets run over easily here; that's likely a sign that they'll have little to no shot of leaving WrestleMania with the IC title.

Roman Reigns vs. Kane and Seth Rollins

To prepare for the arduous test ahead of him that is trying to defeat Brock Lesnar, Reigns will get a crack at two members of The Authority. 

The No. 1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is no stranger to Handicap matches, though. In fact, he knocked off Kane and Rollins last August.

Will WWE let Reigns flex his muscles again?

Rollins is prepping for a WrestleMania bout himself, now that Rollins vs. Randy Orton is now official. Mr. Money in the Bank has the advantage of having Kane at his side here, but focus will be hard to come by; Orton may be on the prowl.

Even with Reigns and Rollins in the main event this time, SmackDown will once again give plenty of attention to the IC title. It promises a chaotic battle between the men vying for that title.

Thursday's show will also offer men, women and a miniature bull a shot at pre-WrestleMania triumph.
