Datsyuk In Lineup vs. Lightning
Saturday, March 28
Ansar Khan of Mlive.com reported Datsyuk is in the lineup vs. Tampa Bay.
On March 23, Bill Roose of The Wheel Deal noted Datsyuk's return to the ice saying that the Red Wings star participated in every drill except for the three-on-three at the start of practice.
Ansar Khan of MLive.com noted it was Datsyuk's first time on the ice with his teammates since his injury against Pittsburgh eight days ago.
Datsyuk, 36, has appeared in 57 games this season and has tallied 58 points (23 goals, 35 assists). These numbers are improvements across the board from last season when he appeared in 45 games.
A cornerstone for the Red Wings during his career, Detroit was wise to play it safe with Datsyuk.
