Parker's Draft Outlook
Monday, March 16
Despite missing the first seven games of the season, Parker still finished his senior season at Louisville with 43 receptions for 855 yards and three touchdowns. In his four-year career at the school, he only finished with less than 740 receiving yards in his freshman season, and he's never finished with fewer than five touchdowns.
His 22 total touchdowns in his sophomore and junior seasons certainly paint the picture of a dangerous weapon in the red zone. Few, if any, of the wideouts in this year's class are better at high-pointing the ball and bringing it down no matter where it is thrown, and his combination of physical tools and experience means he should be an instant contributor for an NFL team.
Clearly, given the amount of meetings he is taking, more than a few organizations agree. In the modern, pass-happy NFL, rookie wide receivers are expected to produce immediately. Parker has all of the makings of a player who will live up to those expectations.
