Moore Reportedly Signing with Buccaneers
Thursday, March 19
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported that Moore is signing in Tampa Bay after visiting with the team last week.
The five-year veteran has played both cornerback and safety in his NFL career with the New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys. He appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys last season, accumulating 46 tackles, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
He's perhaps most famous for his role in the New England Patriots' run to the Super Bowl in 2011. In the AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens, he tipped away a second-down pass intended for Lee Evans in the end zone late in the fourth quarter. Baltimore missed a field goal two plays later, sending the Pats to the Super Bowl.
Moore's versatility is perhaps his greatest asset, and he'll be a nice depth addition and perhaps even a spot starter for Tampa Bay.
