Shaq and Oscar De La Hoya "Box" in Las Vegas

TMZ is pretty much the first to break big celebrity shocking news these days.

Recently, they were the first on hand to notify the world that NBA super star, Shaq, had just fought boxing's last mega star, Oscar De La Hoya, in a boxing match in Las Vegas.

The boxing match was for Shaq's new reality show titled: "Shaq vs."

The footage which is now on You Tube, shows the obvious size difference with Oscar De La Hoya at 5'10" and listed at 154lbs (but hardcore fans know he doesn't walk around at that weight especially now that he's retired), and Shaq at over 7 feet tall and over 320lbs.

Oscar De La Hoya shows he still has good movement in the ring despite being retired and fighting a ridiculously larger man. Shaq, at moments, is scene smothering the former 10 time boxing champion with his body; but not really landing clean shots.

The Golden Boy lands a couple of fast flurries on the upper body of Shaq to display the difference in hand speed. Both are wearing full on protective sparring gear and are using what seems to be larger safer padded gloves.

It makes you wonder what would a prime current pound for pound animal like Manny Pacquiao do to a man Shaq's size if they ever fought? Or how about some of the larger fighters like the Klitschkos or UFC's Brock Lesnar? Rumor has it Shaq was willing to fight Brock right after UFC 100, but he should think twice if he gets easily out hustled by a over the hill, smaller De La Hoya.
