Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher have named their All-Star lineups ahead of the Liverpool FC Foundation's charity match on March 29.

Gerrard's front three undoubtedly grabs the headlines, placing former Liverpool heroes Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres alongside Arsenal legend Thierry Henry. Chris Bascombe of The Telegraph confirmed the teams:

It appears Gerrard will captain an interesting 3-2-3-2 formation in front of the Anfield crowd, while Carragher will lead his men in a traditional 3-4-3, per James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo:

A video of the two Liverpool icons making their selections can be viewed below:

Both men ribbed each other over their selections, with Carragher dropping a bomb on Gerrard's selection of West Ham midfielder Kevin Nolan, per Bascombe:

Carragher also jovially mocked Gerrard's choice to pick Chelsea defender John Terry, saying the English centre-back "can't run," as reported by David Maddock of Mirror. He then targeted former defensive team-mate John Arne Riise—known for his bullet of a left foot—saying he "can't defend."

Ex-Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler didn't escape Carragher's jibes. The Sky Sports pundit said, "We can't have too many with big bellies running around—that's why Robbie isn't invited," per Maddock.

Gerrard confirmed current Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will overlook his side, something Carragher joked he isn't afraid of, per Bascombe:

Carragher's manager is yet to be announced. He jokingly suggested he would interview Jose Mourinho for the position, per Maddock, after slamming the Chelsea manager's tactics preceding his team's Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night, as reported by Alex Sharp of the Daily Mail.

Funds raised at the Merseyside match aim to raise awareness for organisations and charities within Liverpool. Further details were provided during the club's initial announcement:

"

Proceeds raised will help to fund the Liverpool FC Foundation's community programmes, which benefit thousands of young people and adults throughout the city of Liverpool.

Funds will also support Alder Hey's new Hospital in the Park, as well as providing support packages to Claire House, Positive Futures, Centre 56 and Cash for Kids.

Liverpool fans aren't going to receive many more opportunities to see Gerrard in such relaxed fashion. He has just 10 Premier League games left before jetting off to join the Los Angeles Galaxy, marking the end of his historic tenure at the club.

His squad serves as a heartwarming reminder of the greats Gerrard has enjoyed success with and will allow the former England captain to renew his partnership with Spanish maestro Xabi Alonso.

They will undoubtedly be aided by Nolan, who will be looking to unleash his famous chicken dance upon the Anfield crowd.
