NFL draft trade ideas for every pick
Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun passed along the defender's new cap figures for future seasons:
Suggs is getting prepared to enter his 13th season in the NFL. He's spent them all in Baltimore after getting drafted by the organization in the first round of the 2003 draft. The linebacker has registered 729 tackles and 106.5 sacks in 181 games.
The deal comes as teams around the league are working to free up as much cap room as possible before the new league year begins. It should give the Ravens some added flexibility as they seek upgrades elsewhere on the roster.
Suggs proved last season he can still play at a high level with 61 tackles and 12 sacks. Expect more of the same in 2015.
