Tulowitzki Returns to Lineup vs. Phillies
Monday, May 18
MLB Lineups tweeted that Tulowitzki is set to return to the lineup against the Phillies:
"5/18 @Rockies lineup vs PHI Blackmon LF Arenado 3B Tulowitzki SS Gonzalez RF Rosario 1B Hundley C Stubbs CF LeMahieu 2B Lyles P
— MLBLineups (@mlblineups) May 18, 2015"
The team's official Twitter account noted that Tulowitzki left Friday's contest with "left quadriceps tightness."
The Rockies are in last place in the National League West, and the shortstop's long-term health is more important than a couple of games in May.
Entering play Monday, Tulowitzki is hitting .284 with two home runs and 11 RBI. While the numbers don't jump off the page, he is a four-time All-Star, two-time Gold Glove winner and the most feared hitter in Colorado's lineup.
