Mario Balotelli Finds Luis Suarez's Old Shin Pads, Plans to Wear Them

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli is hoping a little bit of Luis Suarez's magic rubs off on him—literally!
According to a report in the Sunday People, picked up by The Independent, the misfiring Italian has found the Uruguayan's old shin pads and plans to wear them for the rest of the season.

Suarez scored 31 goals in 33 Premier League games for the Reds last season before moving to Barcelona in the summer.
Balotelli was signed from AC Milan for £16 million to try and help fill that goalscoring gap but has netted just one Premier League goal all season.
Balotelli is said to have found the shin pads at the club's Melwood training ground and then phoned Suarez to ask if he could use them.
Suarez granted permission, and a source was quoted in the Sunday People as saying, "Luis was in great form and only too happy to help when he received the call from Mario."
